Apex Will Be Provided Hardware Courtesy of Big E Gaming

The brainchild of Eric “Big E” Small, Big E Gaming plays host to some of the largest fighting game national tournaments. Starting off with the North East Championship, Small’s hometown of Philadelphia played host to the first of three annual events. Taking place takes place at the Sheraton Suites Philadelphia Airport Hotel, NEC is held on the first weekend of December. Since its inception, the Northeast Championship has grown to consist of more than seven hundred contestants, featuring high-caliber players from across the North American region, as well as Europe. With the addition of Winter Brawl and Summer Jam, Big E gaming stands as one of the biggest contributors to the FGC, and now, it’s bringing its expertise to APEX. Big E Gaming will be contributing video game hardware and monitors to APEX 2013 to give contestants a smoother experience over the entire weekend. With Big E gaming’s help, APEX stands to give the FGC the strongest APEX experience yet.

Project M is a community-made Brawl mod inspired by Super Smash Bros. Melee’s gameplay designed to add rich, technical gameplay to a balanced cast of characters while additionally enhancing the speed of play. Project M hopes to achieve a final product similar to Super Smash Bros. Melee in many respects. It does not, however, intend to be a 1:1 Melee clone. In short, Project M aims to capture the essence of what made Melee a truly great game while retaining its own personality. “This project is one of the most complete, polished and presentable ‘hacks’ we’ve seen, featuring fully designed menus and stages that look like they belong in a full retail release from Nintendo…. On the whole, the result is a game that is far more precise, balanced and detail-oriented…. Super Smash Bros. Brawl Singles – $1500.00 + Video X Games Stipend Super Smash Bros. Melee Singles – $1500.00 Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 – $1000.00 + Video X Games Stipend Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition v. 2012 – $1000.00 + Video X Games Stipend Tekken Tag Tournament 2 – $500.00 King of Fighters XIII – $250.00 Soul Calibur V – $250.00 Persona 4 Arena – $250.00 Winners of Super Smash Bros.
